Low Protein Passata (PKU)
Method
- Blend tomatoes, garlic, basil and oregano together
- Heat oil in a pan and add onions
- Fry until soft or golden brown
- Add the onions to the sauce and blend together
- In the pan, add the tomato puree and then add the sauce
- Simmer for 10 minutes
- Pour the sauce into a jar
Double or triple the quantities for batch cooking and store in containers or jars for later use!
